I think it's a mistake that when a friend looks at my tab, they always see the normal skin.

I agree! If you buy a skin your image changes on that screen this should also change for new color design. I am sure in order for your new color to appear everytime you log on some code has to be accessed. I don't know what is involved but maybe that code can be on this screen also? I hope with you Syor that this is possible to do.
