Attacked while in house

I went in my house to switch pets and move some items. When I came out, I was half dead from attacks by Red Monsters. I think this was fixed before, but not now. Screenshot with /info at time is attached.

When I have a second device my other character doesn't see me when inside the house but pets are still on the screen. I've had my pets attacked while in house before but not me.

It's obvious those red brutes don't like you there! Not very helpful I know.
Were they poised to attack when you entered your house or awaiting you when you exited?
If following before you entered it might be a safeguard, you know someone could make a huge spawn and conveniently enter their house leaving other players nearby to mop up the mess. Not sure if that could be in play but it is a aspect to consider when entering your house.

I would have been fine killing them in advance, but haven't needed to recently. So, it was a bit of a surprise for me, hence the post.
