Pets are great but irritating, block you from spawning and get in your way when you stand still. A 'stay' command would be great, followed by 'come' to make them follow again, also the sight of pets might need upgrading, fighting yellow archers it just stands by my side rather than getting kills/xp.

I like the idea of a 'stay' & 'come' command, it would help perhaps with scouting the area while leaving your pet at a safe distance, not to trap you, block spawn, so on and so forth.

people are having problems with their pets such as not being able to spawn because the pet is getting in the way.
also, it is now much easier to block access to areas for other players...(dont do this, its against the rules)
also, as Mike has pointed out, its easy to purposely get yourself stuck.

my solution is to abolish the idea of pets completely and erase it from forgotten tales history. then chase me down with gardenforks and torches.

or....
as Cleo pointed out, some animals can be walked through and others not.
just make all pets walkthroughable.

i agree, animals could be allowed to wear blitzboots, etc.

i think dogs are plenty strong enough, but, i think the npc is too far away from anything. ive had to walk back and get my dog far too many times, it was funny maybe the the first three times, but, now it just seems like a lot of unnescessary work.

additional info...
maybe, u could get two birds with one stone and put a couple of extra portals in the game, say,....one in archer field to 100gcity map

and also, one on green robes map, also directly to 100g city map.

then we coukd use the portals to get to the npc from important locations.

also, all the monsters seem to attack the dog first and i cant heal my dog.
so i constantly have to run away before i even have one hp taken off my life.

thats really annoying, and hence why ive had to walk back to the dog trainer npc more then twelve times in 24 hours

I would like a kennel where I can leave my dog safely when going on those harder runs. He is fun but not always wanted. Would save on 200k replacement cost every time I want him. Maybe charge a small boarding fee.

a nice idea 3ray

another Idea i liked was the pet name tag idea....where Pets have a name floating above their head, much like we do.
Credit to SilverStar for that idea.
