Bad Expirence
Not a news flash but a few players are destroying the game for others. Jony, SSN, Jessielynn, among others that feel it is their purpose to screw up everything they can. I believe the cardinal rule for the game is to not interfere with other players play. Why is this type of behavior being tolerated? No encouraged? I enjoy pvp as much as anyone but the actions of a few is distructive to the game. How does anyone else feel?

for these issues, we have a staff team. please contact a moderator via PM and tell him specific events. as you said; rules do emphasize, that you shall not reduce the game experience for others. surely, a clan kill is fine but blocking, continous hunting down etc. is forbidden.

Thanks for the response Gandolf, but the exploits of these players are very well known to everyone. Admins, mods, even Comp has talked about it. I am just curious why it is allowed, as the game suffers. I like the game but many stop playing because of it.

Re: Bad Expirence
I'm an old gamer and even though I haven't seen it all, I've at least seen a form of just about everything.
There is one thing that every mmo has shared since the beginning of time...opportunists. And that is the nicest way I can put it.
Grief play, bug exploiters, power mongers, etc. will always be a part of an online world. Why? Because they can sit in relative safety while engaging in dangerous activities. While your enjoyment comes from conquering an online fantasy world, there's comes from manipulating and using others.
...and they love it when you get upset...
They can't wait for you to come "public" with your rant and make them famous, even legendary, for their exploits. Because they don't care about this game. Once they get bored or limited enough by changes, they'll move on to another game and start all over again.
So, Bunzi, if that's so obvious, why isn't something being done about it?
Good question without a great answer...
You see, in this town, the sheriff doesn't just sit around waiting for bad guys to surface. He wears many hats and holds many positions. If the sheriff spent his time hunting down and jailing all these criminals, he'd have no time to make this town a better place.
Okay, enough of the lame analogy. Point is, changing game mechanics is the only way to stop the abuses. Kicking out abusers won't stop the abuse, only the names of the abusers. And it's amazing how resilient and, dare I say, smart these people are. I've seen hard coded changes made that impact gameplay and end up only being bumps in the road for these guys.
Basically, there are exploits out there, and they'll find them.
I remember one game where droppers would run around gathering agro in a cave system and then run to a player or party and log out. They would log back on in a few seconds after the mob focused on the others in the room and then attack them.
The developers toyed with changing agro mechanics. They tried instituting a logout timer that ended up becoming even more abused in the field because players were being attacked as they logged out. The developers pushed back updates as they chased the criminals, trying to make the game fun for those being wronged. But those being wronged were still being abused AND they got no new content.
If you've read this far, please understand the dilemma that developing a mmo poses. Despite your best efforts, you'll never right all the wrongs or be able to make everyone happy. Hope this helps in some way.

Thanks Bunzi. Almost sounds hopeless. I sincerely hope comp and the team can come up a fix.
