Archers→Weakest character in forgotten tales !
Archers are the weakest until after the new update. Sword man / darf / ororge have same speed..it become impossible to defeat such unit using archers. I want to say that plz double the str or increase the arm or put a new skill for archers to prevent heavy damage from other units. This problem is very abusing for archers character.

It really isn't.. look at what melee had to suffer for such a long time...

I disagree... please share some reasons why you feel archers are weakest - I've run numbers (and played each class) many times and have never come to that conclusion

I also disagree. The updates are great until the melee runs out of stun weapons. The melee has to carry all these and the archer doesn't. Believe me...being an archer is much easier. I still have dwarf that is 2nd class at targetting in pvp.

i think he mightmean that mellee can all stun and restun.immediately if target uses unfreeze. with extra backpack and balistas thats a lot of stunpower.
mage can keep slowing ad spelling.
but archer freezes once. target unfreezes and archer cant freeze again until after 20seconds or so.
so all classes can hold u in place to kill u or slow u and kill at distance, except archer. an archer can do dmg but if u got unfreeze u canALWAYS escape unless he can kill u in one shot.
so serious pvp as archer is realy impossible at the moment since u will always lose unless the other is much much lower lvl so u can kill one shot or is just bad at pvp. im lvling my archers in anticipation of pvp update in september. Ill trust rhibgs will become fairwr then.

I get that, but here's my counter argument - archer vs melee - if both are not equipped with stun/unfreeze, archer wins. if both are equally equipped, archer wins. the only way the melee wins is if he has more stuns than archer has unfreeze, AND he has advantage over the archer (sword likely will, but probably not dwarf or ogre) ... so I still say archer is #2

Dont think I agree because
with backpack and pets (3 Sieges) it would take archer too long to make mellee run out of unfreeze. the battle would take hours. but the archer would run out of unfreeze very fast with repeated spawned stuns. so in a few minutes (proably less). the archer would have no unfreeze left.
It would be different without pack and pets. but they are a fact.
for the update i hope the useless freeze skill of archer will be replaced with a shop bought throwing weapon too.
I do however concede that it takes a good mellee pvp er to do this. closing in is still vry hard.

I don't understand what you're saying.. 1 unfreeze pot cancels 1 stun (fish, dagger, axe) so how could melee carry more stuns than archer can instantly unfreeze?

archer can unfreeze stuns instantly yes.
but he can not spawn stun or freeze himself.a mellee only will need a few unfreezes in a battle and can make the rest knives/axes/fish.
archer needs unfreezes for every stun. and a mellee can stun again as soon as archer uses unfreeze.
battle between archer and ogre:
archer freezes, ogre stuns. both use unfreeze. both try escape. ogre can prevent/slow escape by stunning again and repeat until unfreeze archer gone. archer can not refreeze until skill recharges so ogre can run. heal , hide and return.
even if archer has more unfreeze the delay in having to uze it gives others in battle chance to kill him. basicly he cannot run. if archer has unfreeze but mellee spawns stun it works as a slow. giving others the chance to kill archer.
and if u dont pay real money for backpack and run around with 3 sieges u will always be behind in unfreeze anyway

I guess we will have to agree to disagree here.... I will say that if it's an issue of being able to run away, then neither will kill the other... it takes too long (at most levels, if close to evenly matched) one can stand there and talk for a bit, then casually take gear off, then talk a little more, then log off lol (I hope next big update will address this)
1 last thing though, why would archer run away from ogre anyway lol? surely didn't need to use freeze, use fire arrow and just kill the ogre :p
