TURN DOWN FOR WHAT!!

for real turn auto off until you add a + or - option like members in clan but attkd clans... your ruining test sessions or A SIMPLE "HEY HOW U DOIN" with a fire arrow... YOU RUINED GAME BY TAKIN OFF AUTO NOW U RUIN GAME ADDIN NO PRACTICE PVP... fix it NOW!!!... just turn the crap off til fixed

so the game is ruined because buildings don't auto attack... but it's also ruined because they do auto attack if you fight with that clan? dude, make up your mind...

Its a valid point. Auto attack was taken off because the eventual update in the alliance system right? Nuetrals and enemies fired upon. Allies not fired upon. So if you look at it then isnt this a partial update with no set in stone date for the alliance system?

I know pvp updates got something to do with september. So for clans why do a partial update if the other bits not ready? I get the frustration. A lot of people test themselves against friendly clans. Would it be hard to script in something in the mean time for a lord or duke to type that stopped auto firing like a server reset does?

I get the point too... it's just difficult to find behind all the "you ruined the game" silliness and the psychotic rant which was deleted at the same time lol

oh, and to be clear, the auto attack wasn't turned off solely in anticipation of the alliance system... there were other issues considered leading to that. most notably (imo) was exactly something that is being complained about now, which was the ability to work together with another clan.

as for the ability to "turn off" your buildings, yeah that would be cool... but I think time could be better spent elsewhere (balance, alliances etc...) Seriously, how hard is it to just not attack your friends on the clan maps?

i guess hah... keep a broke system its cool... was turned off cuz of whiners and turned on cuz of whiners... all im askin is to beable to attack my allies without blocking them til server reset... but what does my opinion matter right?... i only run one of the biggest clans... own a ton of land... and have the biggest family in FT... take it hiw you want i guess hah

for future reference (both here and in other areas of life) you will generally receive better results by sharing your concern, explaining why it is a problem, then offering a viable solution than you will by ranting, throwing a fit, and whining.

for example, in this case the following would be better:

When we play on clan maps, we often enjoy attacking our friends and allies. The current game mechanics make this unenjoyable because we have no control over stopping our buildings from attacking. I know you are working on an alliance system, and we're looking forward to it. In the meantime, would it be possible to establish a command for the Duke of a clan to stop his/her buildings from attacking a specific clan? For example, the Duke could type /stopattack DR to end the auto attack of clan DR until there is another attack on or from them? it would really help us out. thank you.

PS I know you like to play your role here in the forum as you do in game, and likely already know how to address people in a way which might actually get results... in which case please consider this advice for somebody else who may read it ;)
