Hiw ranged attack works?

Hello, my wand has range 4, but when I click on monsters to attack my character walks in monster's direction. Can you tell me how I make long attacks?

Using spells or hitting your actual attack button

Is it online or offline version?

If offline - i think you click not exactly to monster but to space near him - so you walk to him.
If online - enable joystick in settings, playing will be much easier

Offline game the mage only attacks with spells. Online game you use the attack button to hit with wand.
