Logging Off.

Post by Matthias »

In PvP it is too easy for anyone to log off to get away. It only takes a few seconds.

Here is my idea:
A /save or /log command that logs you off and returns you to the home screen like the backspace key, after a certain amount of time.

If you do not use the /save command to lof off you will still log of but it will take longer.

Here is my idea for log time:

When on Map [0,0] its 3 seconds.
When Underground it's 30 seconds.
When on a Clan Map: 20 seconds.
When on PvP map: 25 seconds.
When under attack: 20 percent longer wait.

Also I think when you log on you should start at the entrance off the area you last entered.

I don't like PVP and the 11 second it is now is 10 seconds too long!

So my idea is: If a character is NOT in a clan: logging is "instantaneous" if under PvP

OK OK I know, that is a lead balloon of an idea but ....

I completely disagree. The only time I'm involved in PvP is if I'm attacked, and, yes, I will run/log each time. I have zero interest in people's clan wars or personal squabbles/power trips that lead them to attack others. Don't make me and the multiple others in the same boat pay by doing something like this.

Well the lead balloon getting a little lighter. I don't ever see it happening though.

The PvP lovers have it.

But Imagine this: To PvP or Not to PvP ...

I guess it depends on whether you like pvp or not

I would suggest that anyone not in a clan, and who is not outlaw, who does not retaliate against unwanted PvP from someone who is not already an enemy, be allowed immediate immunity to further attacks from that person, providing that they are not in clan maps, or the Colosseum. All such PvP immunity immediately ceases if they later PvP anyone.

I'm not sure I'm in favour of immediate immunity from a certain player.

Why?

For the 99% of us it makes sense. There are always those who will take advantage, though. This idea seems to fall into that bracket.

If I'm wrong with this, I am very happy to be wrong.

I wonder how many +1's I can add to a post before it goes into "to many characters".
That sounds great.
