DING! DING! And also when the GM's hold "events" in the Colosseum?

And while I'm at it, what is so dangerous/bad about being in there. I've wandered around in there a couple of times didn't strike me as a bad place. GOLGREN showed it to me when I first started playing, he told me it wasn't used for anything.

I saw one event that MadMike put up ...

During past spawn events in the coliseum, GMs have changed the coliseum into a non-pvp map. That alone would prevent the "negate protect" mechanic of previous suggestions, as you wouldn't be in a coliseum type map, but a non-pvp map.
As for houses in such a location, I have no idea what to do with that.

And as long as non clanned mages cannot heal players participating in pvp.

And as long as non clanned players can block the heal of mages participating in pvp
Don't you mean "And as long as non clanned players can NOT block the heal of mages participating in pvp"?

Excluding non-clanned mages/players from healing/blocking would require a significant change to game mechanics.
By comparison, making players immune to PVP would be simple.

Make all players start with PVP protection on by default, but lose that protection once they enter the Colosseum, or attack a player or join a clan. They can then buy PvP protection after a delay of one week (or one month), and this PvP protection lasts a longer time than now (1 year?) but is again lost if they visit the colosseum / attack a player / join a clan.
Buying PvP protection while outlaw will be impossible (as it is now). The cost of buying new PvP protection should be significant to prevent abuse.

If that became reality, then all existing players would have ONE WEEK to buy PvP Protection at a reduced price (unless prohibited by being clanned or outlaw).
Ah yes i definitely meant can not block.

I have always supported the idea that if players want to pvp they should join a clan and for players who don't like pvp as long as they are not in a clan then they shouldn't have to be forced to pvp.

If the heal spell was changed to only heal Hp where it's needed, heal blocking wouldn't work (theoretically). Making this idea dependent on such things as "not targeting players", "not clanned", "not enemy", etc, would prevent it from being abused in pvp.

P. S. "Not outlaw" was one I forgot, but shouldn't overlook. Lol
