Nope, as many as you want. but they take space, AND if a pet is FULL when you put it in the house, the contest fill empty spaces in the house.
So if you have 2 full pets and 10 spaces free in your house ... the excess (32 items) is tossed out on the ground, like when you mine...

Correct and correct. As LK sort of mentioned a set of "grinding" and "mining" pets is pretty common, but you might have a few extra types to swap out if the need suits.
Now I badly want want house. Any ideas for getting some quick Google play money (I know its not that simple )

This is so true, why I even have a couple of "SellSword" pets. Named them Sim and Pal
Yupper! Got them in the RePet store on The 6th Day.
I gotta Admit the House is one of the best things in game and its very convenient for Pet storage and crafting other than storing items. So the best way to buy a house is a Credit Card. I don't know much about Gift cards.

Although a gift card can be bought for a small starting price, then more money added to to it month by month or even week by week, until there's enough money on it to buy what you want.

One thing i can't understand till today date is that "Why we can't get any pet from pet shop if we have some other pet with us?"
I mean what's the logic of that? we can buy a dragon from pet house and then we can get a wardog. but we can't get the wardog first and then get the dragon?
Its like saying 1+ 2 = 3
but 2 + 1 is not 3.
