I think this is due to a spare code that is server wide, rather then client based. It enabled tap-to-walk even if it was disabled. I think a simple verify if client has tap-to-walk enabled else, disable code, should fix itMr_Maks wrote: ↑Wed Oct 09, 2019 5:11 pm
As for autowalk, this function really never made any sense, you can always go to the NPC or the unfinished building on your own, and when the game forces you to approach them instead of just looking at the building’s health, this is really a problem in many cases.

Re: New clan map
Tell me what is "auto-walk" exactly for you. Because different people describe different behaviors with that phrase.LostKnight wrote: ↑Wed Oct 09, 2019 4:23 pmWHY!!!!!!!!terminator wrote: ↑Wed Oct 09, 2019 3:34 amFeature was removedLostKnight wrote: ↑Wed Oct 09, 2019 2:02 am Still no "auto-walk" or is this a feature removed from the game?
When Comp says, in the same post:So obviously "continuous walking" is suppose to be there.compbatant wrote: ↑Wed Sep 25, 2019 6:47 pm Fixed problem with continuous walking if you released finger too far away from virtual joystick.

Re: New clan map
I believe his definition was by tapping past the joystick, so you didn't have to hold it down, and could chat etc while moving. The way I used it was that when you press a building that took dmg/ an NPC, you automatically walk to it, even if you have taptowalk disabledcompbatant wrote: ↑Wed Oct 09, 2019 5:41 pmTell me what is "auto-walk" exactly for you. Sliding finger off the D-pad to walk in that direction.compbatant wrote: ↑Wed Oct 09, 2019 5:41 pm Tell me what is "auto-walk" exactly for you. Because different people describe different behaviors with that phrase.

- Works in version 7.3 BETA (Linux) sliding finger past screen edge.

Ok. I'll paraphrase what players are saying they like and dislike, for simplicity.compbatant wrote: ↑Wed Oct 09, 2019 5:41 pmTell me what is "auto-walk" exactly for you. Because different people describe different behaviors with that phrase.LostKnight wrote: ↑Wed Oct 09, 2019 4:23 pmWHY!!!!!!!!

Like: Former (now disabled) ability to slide finger away from joystick and continue to walk in that direction until something obstructs the path.
Dislike: Current (still active) mechanic that automatically moves a player to a damaged clan building (same clan or allied), or automatically walking to any npc clicked on, even though tap-to-move is disabled in client settings.
If i am incorrect, can someone clarify?

Re: New clan map
Somebody reported this as a problem some time ago and that's why i removed it. I can't find the post about it and don't remember who reported it.LostKnight wrote: ↑Wed Oct 09, 2019 6:04 pmSliding finger off the D-pad to walk in that direction.compbatant wrote: ↑Wed Oct 09, 2019 5:41 pm Tell me what is "auto-walk" exactly for you. Re: New clan map
I think there were times when players would just tap the d-pad and it would result in moving several spaces. It made some things like moving back and forth for spawning difficult at times.
I don't believe I reported it (probably chimed in that it had happened to me too as it had), but I seem to recall a discussion about that. Maybe there was a different issue though?
