So I have achieved a freya, a sword, an ogre, and a dwarf over 2k and have an archer in the line with over 1250 on his way. A mage half that drags behind. Some may say a freya and the dwarf are the same just as a fairy and mage are the same, or a huntress and archer, or a amazon and a swordsman, but don't tell them that!! My freya has her own style and personality far different from my dwarf. This too is part of my plodding...each character has a back story. We may bore with monotony but a persona helps each acct be interesting to play.
People play solitaire their whole life or mahjong or any number of plodding always the same games. It isn't because they lack imagination but a childlike enjoyment of "do it again!" which small children will wear adults out saying. This plodding has lead to many accounts that should I have devoted to one character only I have no doubt I would be at 15k. But each plodding underling has his or her place. Yes Forgotten Tales is a game that asks for our imagination of a different place and time operating under different rules than real life and peopling that world with a variety of individual accounts with individual personalities is how I keep this game fresh. Yes my main is mostly retired but there are many who plod along and keep me coming back day after day.
