oh yeah, mage is clearly way, way ahead of everybody else so i didn't bother explaining why lol. but I agree... slow, armor, and heal only multiply the already best damage formula

Mage is still the best overall clearly. Swordsmans actually takes second spot in pvp over the rest.

I know this not the topic for this but I feel all classes damage wise is balanced. I think everyone is just over looking a simple factor here. The hitpoint system is across the board 1 strength is 98 hp, 1 arm is 198 plain simple. That allows a 1k mage to have over 100k. Yes rest of class has more but we do more damage. A mage is powerful but suppose to be weak in health. I think the hitpoint system should be class specific not one standard for yall.

I totally agree with that... I stopped pushing the idea of making stats do different things for different classes long ago (seemed to have no support) but that would really make things interesting

And then just kill the enemy with the insane str while always hit is on.

I was trying to give balanced opinion (pvp&pvm and at a wide range of levels) - - depending on level, I would totally agree with you, because gear makes armor so high that even with better dex, you still only do damage 2/11ths of the time, so always hit is great because you bypass the armor and do full damage 6.5/11ths of the time (versus less than 4/11 with the "double" attacks of ogre and archer) in short, I agree
- - anyway, I still think archer range more than makes up for this

I am relatively new to the game, but I support this concept 110%. I have heard people stating multiple times about 'trying to make FT seem as real as possible' yet the entire concept of strengths of different classes is slowly disappearing. All classes of characters are slowly becoming the same with ranged attacks, similar skills etc. The differences that make certain classes more desirable for certain people are almost non-existent.blitzcraig wrote:I totally agree with that... LoL on PvP whis all out mages its, mage no use lot dex ask hight lv & low lv mages, mage isnt made for be tank, he is made to do lot dmg fast & use manare4ction wrote:Always hit is in pvp probably one of best skills.

vs. mage I'd disagree - maybe (probably) best vs. melee... but doubling attacks of ogre or archer should be better vs. mage in most situations ... also -ogre stun hit or dwarf half damage will work to empty mana supply which is great at certain levels (though not nearly enough at very high levels where mages rule no matter what :p )
