I have some ideas/suggestions~

I think anyone unclanned shouldn't be able to pvp, therefore they wouldn't be able to go on clan maps unless they join a clan.~ Just an opinion

Many have suggested that mages should have a "self heal" spell, I think a new spell would result in less bag space, and since mages normally carry 4-5 spells already, they have little space (like the 140 skill on sword class). Instead of a new spell, maybe taking away the ability to heal anyone with full HP is a better option? This way, in PvP and PvM, a mage can heal themself and only heal a player to full health, instead of the heal spell dividing it's healing properties among the many players who "block" mages' heal. ~ Suggestion

Since fish can be sold to banktown... Maybe Ingots, planks, meteors, soul stones, etc can be sold at the Blacksmith's shop? Low amounts, like the fish of course... This way "newbies" can learn how Trades work and won't beg for gold and spam sell other players. ~Idea

Speed boots... They help newbies run away from mobs faster, they also make great "junk gear" in PvP. Maybe they should be crafted as well as dropped from crocys, They can be sold at wagon shop for a low amount of gold, similar to the idea before this one... Newbies won't have to beg for gold, gear or boots. Craft chance can be like 40%, requiring simple things such as a few hp pots, a wasp sting, etc. ~Suggestion

Not sure about anyone else, but I recently bought a house and I get attacked while crafting, etc. I find it really annoying and irritating. I know PvP protection for the owner of a house only has been suggested before. Maybe just a 2 range protection is just as good? Shop ranges should be reduced a bit, I hear many complain. I noticed SOME NPCs give PvP protection, but not all of them, and the range on the PvP protection is quite large. NPCs should all either have protection, or not have it.. It's really confusing. ~Suggestion/Idea

PvP and clans - love the idea

Heal idea - a great alternative that would work in many cases; love it too as another potential solution

Selling crafted items - sure, if this isn't overdone where you can make too much gold

Speed boots - I'd actually like to see new players start with these instead; perhaps a simple craft at the blacksmith would be good too; not sure if they should be sold in a shop though

Personal houses and PvP protection - it does seem to have gotten quite weird; some areas are really difficult to tell; a little bit more of uniformity would be nice; as for house owner... it's debatable, and I can argue either side; I know it was changed because of abuse, and it would be abused no matter what. So it must be done carefully. A feature I would like to see (if possible) is an option to display certain things - like range of PvP protection areas; hit a button and the ground colours to show you the boundaries.

Anyway, hope these ideas do get considered, and others will add constructive input ;)

The healing suggestion is a great suggestion. Why mana be used for unnecessary healing for those already full HP??
In RPG game when all units are healed it says "nobody needs healing ". So why waste mana in mmorpg for those already full HP.

Houses should provide PVP protection to only the owner and that too within a +1 or +2 range. I totally agree.

I would like Blacksmith to craft carbon ingots too. It can craft all ingots expect carbon ingots. I don't understand why.🤔

About pvp i think non clan members should get a warning before entering clan map. Many newbies don't know about that and enter and die. I remember earlier when only 1 clan map was there below the mummy dungeon 1 NPC used to warn that "it's a clan map do not enter ". That was a good way of protecting non clan members.

Players starting with speed boots- I like the idea. I think when you sell them you get like 540 gold at wagon shop. ~Correct me if I'm wrong.

Seeing boundaries for protection range- Love this one!! Maybe it can show like clan building ranges do? ;)

I forgot about that, the RPG's version of healing. It's good, would be great in the Online version.
And yes I agree, newbies die on clan maps a lot... My brother started to play a little while back and walked on a clan map... Lets just say the archers he ran into weren't so friendly... :cry:
I believe the Blacksmith doesn't craft carbon ingots because they are only used to craft higher level gear, such as 500 plate/shield.

Maybe the option to join a clan should be higher than 10, and the option to create one higher than 20?


EDIT: An easier fix to newbies walking on clan maps might be to rid unclanned players of the ability to walk onto a clan map unclanned. I see this abused A LOT, a high level, unclanned player kills lower, clanned players.

Agree with nightbaby on no pvp for unclanned

Disagree 100% on mage idea

Blocking is a tactic that should always be able to be used

Completely agree with pvp protection for player that pays $50 for a private house it's ridiculous to even argue against that it's $50

Definitely agree that shop protection should be drastically reduced

Players should have to stand right next to shop for protection

about shop protection... A while back I had offered to change all shops to be like the one on 1.3, where you "enter" the shop (new map) - it'd be a lot more realistic I think, and offer better gameplay as well.... I wonder what the general consensus is on such an idea...?

Solves most problems, I love it.
And makes perfect sense.

Still though, "shop hiding"...
Could you run inside to seek safety in PvP?

best case scenario is that you could not talk with npcs while engaged in PvP (like how you cannot change maps)

but that would require a small mechanics change... but even if that didn't happen, at least you couldn't watch everybody and have then targeted from your safe zone, take 1 step out and then back in etc...
